40 Days for Life - Houston - Day 8

Second Ambulance in Two Days at Planned Parenthood! Are ASC Standards Enough?

Ambulatory Surgical Center standards will not prevent a botched abortion, they merely make it easier for emergency crew to get close to the women if there is a serious complication!    Tuesday, Oct 3rd, a fire engine and ambulance showed up outside of Planned Parenthood! Wednesday, Oct 4th, another person on a gurney was rushed away from the Planned Parenthood Abortion Ambulatory Surgical Center!

The question is raised, how many more are coming when there are fewer witnesses on the sidewalk?

Thank you to the Mom's group from St. Faustina Catholic Church that came to pray out on the sidewalk outside this huge abortion facility!  And thank you to the individuals who signed up to take an hour of prayer during this 40 Days for Life including those who come out year round!

As we unite with the International 40 Days for Life and their 375 locations around the world in prayer, we pray with them a specific prayer intention and scripture verse.

Oct 4th, Day 8:

Intention:  May the spirit and example of the Good Samaritan fill the hearts and minds of all our citizens.

Scripture: Jesus said: "A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he fell into the hands of robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead.

"A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.

"So, too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side.

"But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, took him to an inn and took care of him. The next day he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper. 'Look after him,' he said, 'and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.'

"Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?" The expert in the law replied, "The one who had mercy on him." Jesus told him, "Go and do likewise." - Luke 10:30-37

Tuesday, the Big Blue Bus was blessed to have to 8 visits. Of these women who came, 1 had a negative pregnancy test, 5 had new pregnancies and 2 were returning for a follow up visit. At this point, all are planning to parent. Please keep all of these women in your prayers!

All praise and glory to God!
