40 Days for Life - Houston - Day 14

I believe every child has a purpose!

"I've never seen so many cars in this parking lot before!" said one veteran pro-life volunteer.

As two cars pulled over to talk with sidewalk counselors, another sidewalk counselor was able to walk out to a car that had slowed down to ask a question.  After a brief conversation, the driver said, "Wow! Thank you for being here....I believe every child has a purpose."

Yes, there are girls who fortunately do turn away from the abortion facility, including while we are praying out there today, but we also reach out to so many others too as sidewalk counselors.

At Houston Coalition for Life, not only do we stand and pray and sidewalk counsel to help women and children be spared from abortion; we also have an opportunity to engage the individuals with the Culture of Life and warn them of the horror of Planned Parenthood that they can avoid.

Thank you to Lutherans for Life and Trinity Lutheran for covering today (AND yesterday) in prayer for an end to abortion!  Thank you also to Love Let's Live and all who came out to pray today for an end to abortion!

As we unite with the International 40 Days for Life and their 375 locations around the world in prayer, we pray with them a specific prayer intention and scripture verse.

Oct 10th, Day 14:

Intention: Pray that the abortionists and all workers in abortion facilities would be troubled in their souls regarding their work and would seek truth.

Scripture:  Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ s sake has forgiven you. - Ephesians 4:31-32

Monday, the Big Blue Bus was blessed to have 9 visits. Of these women, 1 had a negative test, 5 have new pregnancies and 1 had a follow up visit and 2 just received referrals. At this point, each of these pregnant women is planning to parent. Please keep these women in your prayers!

All praise and glory to God!
