40 Days for Life - Houston - Day 34

Inspiration from the Astros!

Today we celebrate victories in Houston! The Houston Astros won the game last night, 13-12! As we celebrate each home run of the Houston Astros today, we also celebrate each time a woman chooses to take her baby home.  (The combination of Astros and Dodgers set a new record of 22 home runs during the World Series! We pray every child has a chance to have a "home run"!)  Very often we have 13 or more girls in a day come to our Big Blue Bus; they receive a free pregnancy test and ultrasound and choose life right there in the shadow of the abortion facility!

Just this weekend, we heard the excitement of the wife of a volunteer who helped redirect a young woman to the Big Blue Bus.  And this series of events is so intense because it affects the entire world of an unborn child!

We can think of all the dreams and excitement that go into making the World Series a possibility!  We pray that those unborn will be able to build those memories with us in the future because they are the future!  They too should have the opportunity to dream big and #EarnHistory

UNITING WITH 40 DAYS FOR LIFE AROUND THE WORLD!

As we unite with the International 40 Days for Life and their 375 locations around the world in prayer, we pray with them a specific prayer intention and scripture verse.

Oct 31st, Day 35:

Intention: May we come to know that divine life, in relationship, creates human life.

Scripture: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. —John 1:1-3
