Our featured speaker will be Kristan Hawkins, President of Students for Life. Kristan is an author, speaker, Podcast host and is known for fearlessly defending the pro-life cause throughout college campuses across the country.
Houston Coalition for Life was founded in 2002 -- by two Texas A&M graduates -- with the mission of ending abortion in Houston peacefully and prayerfully. We operate four Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers, including three mobile crisis pregnancy centers - Big Blue, Baby Blue, and the Little One - as well as our main office. All our pregnancy centers provide free pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, and Christian counseling. Since we launched Big Blue in 2011, we have had 30,162 visits to our Blue Blossom Pregnancy Centers and 92.5% of the women with positive pregnancy tests have chosen life for their baby!
Even though abortion is illegal in Texas, crisis pregnancies continue to occur, and abortion facilities are referring women out of state for their abortion and the RU-486 - the abortion pill -- is accessible through the mail. Since Roe was overturned, our services have increased by 20% and we are committed to saving women and their preborn babies from the horror of abortion. We believe women deserve better than abortion and that each, innocent, unrepeatable, preborn life deserves love and protection.
